Tommy Fury's "Chest Infection"
After months of preparation from both camps, Tommy Fury announces that he cannot fight anymore due to a severe chest infection and a broken rib. He also said he was "heartbroken" and hoped he could fight Jake Paul next year (2022).
When asking Jake Paul about the rearrangement for the fight next year, Paul responded with: "He has done a terrible job on promoting the fight" following with "I don't see a reason to come back next year and give him a pay day".
Why would someone put a low effort to such a big event in which could have resulted in some of millions of dollars? Perhaps, Tommy Fury could have been intending to pullout.
Here comes a New Challenger!
Jake Paul's response to this harsh situation was to quickly switch his opponent, and there was no better candidate then his last opponent: Tyron Woodley.
With Tommy Fury's attempt to either prolong or cancel the fight, all the undercards would be forced to do the same. It would result on a bad day not only for the fighters but also for the administrators of the event all together.
Jake Paul was looking to not lose any extra time and money with Tommy Fury, and with Tyron Woodley staying in shape, training since the last fight between him and Paul, it was just the right thing to do into the right moment, giving Woodley the rematch he wanted so much.

There is still official cost announced for the card, but based on the price of the last fight, it could cost up to $59,99 dollars.
